【看中国2023年3月12日讯】中国领导人习近平10日在第十四届全国人大一次会议上再次“当选”国家主席，进入第三个任期。对此，墙里墙外展开热烈讨论，内容亦是大相径庭。
3月10日，中共十四届全国人大一次会议在北京举行第三次全体会议，由习近平全票当选国家主席、中央军事委员会主席，现场设有28个投票箱，计票结果显示，总投票人数2952人。对此，美国之音报导，这一结果对于大多数西方媒体来说毫无悬念。
美联社在发表推文时说，“习近平被授予第3个5年总统任期，这使他步入了终身执政的轨道。仪式性的全国人民代表大会以2952比0的投票结果支持习近平的任命早已是定局。”

英国广播公司（BBC）驻华记者麦笛文（Stephen McDonell）则对这一结果调侃说，“哇，真是太惊险了！（Whew that was close!）”“习近平以2952票对0票‘再次当选’中国国家主席。”

许多西方政治家、评论人士以及活动者都表示，习近平的“全票当选”，再次反映了中国全国人大这个橡皮图章机构的选票毫无意义。
比利时前首相居伊·伏思达（Guy Verhofstadt）也在推特上说，“习近平以2952票赞成、0票反对、0票弃权获得连任……专制政体就是这样！”
设在美国的非政府组织香港民主委员会也讽刺说，“谁说中国没有民主？！全国人民代表大会以2952票赞成对0票反对、0票弃权再次选举习近平成为主席。”香港的全国人大常委会委员谭耀宗在面对中国大陆民众没有投票权的前提下，竟然还说，“这充分反映了中国14亿人民的愿望”。

许多西方观察人士在转发习近平连任消息的同时，也不忘指出习近平的连任是一小部分人的决策结果。
英国《卫报》以题为<习近平被授予前所未有的第三个中国国家主席任>，报导此事。
