要求美国总统公开谴责利比亚暴君卡扎菲的血腥镇压
这是一封写给美国总统奥巴马的联名信，呼吁奥巴马公开谴责利比亚暴君卡扎菲的令人发指的暴行。联合国人权事务高级专员皮莱已明确表示，卡扎菲政权犯下的是 “反人类罪”。加拿大等国政府也已经对卡扎菲政权对利比亚人民的血腥镇压表示了强烈谴责。美国政府不应该在这一是非非常清楚的问题上保持沉默。请各位希望美国政府表态谴责卡扎菲的朋友联署此信。我们明天寄给白宫。谢谢。

Dear President Obama:
We are writing to urge you to speak out as soon as possible against Gadhafi's atrocities in Libya and demand that Gadhafi to be ousted and prosecuted for his crimes.
Moammar Gadhafi is a mad dictator and a ruthless terrorist. His hands are full of the blood of innocent people, including Libyans, Americans and others. We are puzzled that you have not unequivocally condemned Gadhafi’s crimes against his own people.
The moral support of the United States is critical to the Libyan people. If no action is taken, more innocent people will die and the bloodshed will spread over the country, possibly the region, which is not in the best interest of America. The U.S. is an important model of democracy and freedom to the world. Please keep that light shining brightly so as to provide a beacon of hope to the Libyan people.
