都灵冬季奥运今天进入落幕前倒数第四天，其中最令人瞩目的女子单人花式滑冰决赛，二十四岁的日本世界冠军荒川静香击败美、俄强敌，在冬运女子花式滑冰决赛赢得冠军，为日本拿下历来第一面奥运花式滑冰金牌；在短曲项目中领先的美国柯恩获得银牌，原先被寄予厚望的俄罗斯史露兹卡雅仅获铜牌。荒川粉碎了俄国包办花式滑冰赛全部四面金牌的梦想。史露兹卡雅曾两度拿下世界锦标赛冠军；俄罗斯在都灵冬季奥运已夺下花式滑冰男子个人、双人、以及冰舞三面金牌，原本希望再拿下女子花式滑冰金牌，创下大满贯纪录。
在二十一日短曲项目竞赛中，美国柯恩成绩居首，史露兹卡雅成绩第二，今天拿下金牌的荒川静香第三。
