都靈冬季奧運今天進入落幕前倒數第四天，其中最令人矚目的女子單人花式滑冰決賽，二十四歲的日本世界冠軍荒川靜香擊敗美、俄強敵，在冬運女子花式滑冰決賽贏得冠軍，為日本拿下歷來第一面奧運花式滑冰金牌；在短曲項目中領先的美國柯恩獲得銀牌，原先被寄予厚望的俄羅斯史露茲卡雅僅獲銅牌。荒川粉碎了俄國包辦花式滑冰賽全部四面金牌的夢想。史露茲卡雅曾兩度拿下世界錦標賽冠軍；俄羅斯在都靈冬季奧運已奪下花式滑冰男子個人、雙人、以及冰舞三面金牌，原本希望再拿下女子花式滑冰金牌，創下大滿貫記錄。
在二十一日短曲項目競賽中，美國柯恩成績居首，史露茲卡雅成績第二，今天拿下金牌的荒川靜香第三。
